2024 Call For Applications: Ogu General Assembly Annual Endowed Scholarships and Bursaries

Ogu General Assembly (OGA) hereby calls for applications for its endowed scholarships. Applicants must be Ogu of Nigerian origin, who are freshly admitted or are current students of higher institutions.

1    Steve Surulere Saheed Foundation Annual Endowment Fund

•       Provides #50,000 each for 10 students in the Sciences.

2    Gabriel & Josephine Zannu Scholarships

•       Provides #50,000 for 1 student who primarily sponsors him/herself to school.

3    Javie Fasinu Scholarships & Bursaries

•       Provides #50,000 for 2 students who primarily sponsor themselves to school

4    Aliu Soyingbe Annual Endowment Funds

•       Provides #50,000 each for one male and one female student

5    Vittu Dosa Endowment Fund

•       Provides #50,000 for 2 students each in Management studies (Banking & Finance,         Accountancy or       Business Management)

6    OGA Historical Scholarships

•       #50,000 each for 2 Ogu Undergraduate students studying History (CGPA not lower than 60%; 3/5,          4.2/7 or 2.4/4)
•        #100,000 for 1 Ogu Postgraduate student conducting original research into any aspect of Ogu               History broadly defined (including Anthropology, Sociology, Music, Arts, Linguistics, Philosophy        etc)

7    Jossou Endowment Bursary

•       Provides #50,000 for 1 Ogu Undergraduate student in science or engineering

8    Viyon Awhense, MyBadagry MyFuture & Badagry International Film Festival Endowment

•       Provides #50,000 and 6 months internship opportunity for 2 final year Ogu students in Media,              Journalism, Digital Story Telling, TV or Film Studies

9    Late J.O. Hunsu-Akande Endowment Fund

•       Provides #50,000 for 1 student in Hotel and Hospitality Management course

• Ogu student of Nigerian origin
• Currently enrolled in a higher institution of learning in Nigeria

• Cover letter highlighting qualifications based on the 2 requirements above
• Copy of SSCE results and proof of admission for newly admitted students OR transcript/official result profile for current students
• Name and contact details of 2 referees who are registered members of the Assembly (no reference letter is required)
