UCJ UI ANNOUNCES 6TH EDITION OF THE ANNUAL ‘FISAYO SOYOMBO INTER-VARSITY ESSAY COMPETITION
The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan is glad to announce the opening of another edition of its annual ‘FISAYO SOYOMBO ESSAY COMPETITION.
The competition which is in its 6th year and seeks solution-focused essays on issues of national importance, is open to all undergraduate students in any Nigerian university
For the 2024 edition, applicants are to write one the topic: BLESSED YET IMPOVERISHED: HOW CAN NIGERIA SOLVE ITS GENERATIONAL CORRUPTION ISSUES?
ENTRY FORMAT
Entry should contain the essay and a copy of the participant’s school ID in separate PDF files in an email to: ucjunibadan@gmail.com. Email Subject: “FISAYO SOYOMBO ESSAY CONTEST”.
PRIZES
First Place: N250,000
Second Place: N150,000
Third Place: N100,000
This is your chance to voice your thoughts and ideas on an issue of national interest. Your essay can be a catalyst for change, inspiring new approaches to fighting corruption in Nigeria.
