Profile code is an important requirement for jamb registration. This is not limited to UTME candidates, direct entry candidates are to follow suit.
- To generate profile code, send “NIN” leave a space and type your NIN number and send to 55019 or 66019.
- Ensure you have up to 50 naira on your SIM.
- It has been brought to our notice that those that registered for JAMB last year are to maintain the same SIM card used to generate profile code last year for this year. Incase you have misplaced the SIM card, kindly retrieve.
- When you try to generate a profile code with another SIM card you are likely to get this error message below.
“Hence you are to use the same SIM card used last year for this year”
- Candidates writing jamb for the first time are to use a new SIM that has not been used by another candidate.
