IBADAN DESCENDANTS’ UNION OF GREATER WASHINGTON USA invites applications for the Year 2024 Scholarship Program from qualified Ibadan Indigenes who are currently attending any of Nigerian Colleges and Universities. The award will be paid directly to the school on behalf of the student.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must be Ibadan indigenes
- Candidate must be in good standing both academically and morally. The criteria for good standing are those set by the institution the candidate is attending.
- Candidate must provide evidence of need.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Recent passport size photograph
- Letter of recommendation from the head of your department or faculty dean
- A copy of your official school transcript showing a minimum of 3.25 Cumulative GPA

HOW TO APPLY
The following information should be provided:
- Full Name (Surname, First, Middle)
- Family house / compound Address and local government area.
- Current Institution of Higher Education Name and full address.
- Level or year at institution.
- Year admitted and estimated year of graduation.
- Email address
- Recent passport size photograph.
- Letter of recommendation from the head of your department or faculty dean.
- A copy of your official school transcript showing a minimum of 3.25 Cumulative GPA
- A brief paragraph stating the reasons you should be selected for this scholarship award, your field of studies or major, and how it will benefit the society.
DO NOT send certificates or recognition awards you received or your membership in civic organizations.
