Nifemi Brown Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the second edition of the Nifemi
Brown Foundation’s (NBF) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (NBF-USP) for
Nigerian students attending Federal Universities nationwide. This initiative
empowers deserving students to achieve their academic and personal goals. By
investing in talented and driven individuals, they aim to cultivate the next
generation of leaders and innovators who will contribute to positive change in
Nigeria and beyond.
The NBF Undergraduate Scholarship Program (NBF-USP) was created to
alleviate the financial burden on students pursuing a higher education and help
them nurture their potential as they demonstrate academic excellence,
leadership qualities, and a commitment to community service.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For returning students:
If you are a returning student with outstanding academic performance, we
encourage you to apply for the NBF-USP. To be considered, you must submit the
following:
- A 500-word essay detailing your personal journey, accomplishments,
and future aspirations. Include your contact details (phone number, email
address) at the end of your essay. - Results from the past semester(s) or your Cumulative Grade Point Average
(CGPA). - Three reference letters from individuals of reputable standing, such as
religious leaders, mentors, teachers, or guidance counsellors. - A valid means of Identification (e.g. National ID Card, Student ID Card).
For newly admitted students:
This scholarship presents an incredible opportunity to kickstart your
academic journey on a strong footing. Eligible applicants must submit:
- A 500-word essay showcasing your passion, interests, and reasons for
pursuing your chosen degree. Include your contact details (phone number,
email address) at the end of your essay. - Results from your Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and
Post-UTME. - An admission letter confirming your enrollment in a Federal University.
- Three reference letters from individuals of reputable standing, such as
religious leaders, mentors, teachers, or guidance counsellors. - A valid means of Identification (e.g., National ID Card, Student ID
Card).
We encourage applicants to express their uniqueness and creativity in
their essays while adhering to the guidelines set by NBF. Reference letters
must be presented on letterhead paper, signed, and stamped by the respective
individuals providing the recommendation

HOW TO APPLY
All documents MUST be combined into a single pdf/zipped
folder and sent to nifemibrownfoundation@gmail.com with the subject
line “USP Entry”.
Failure to adhere to this submission format will result in
automatic disqualification.
