Kaduna State Scholarship Board offers scholarship to all indigenes and residents of Kaduna State.
The scholarship covers tuition fees.
Scholarship Description
- Applicants must be residents of the State.
- Applicants must provide personal income tax clearance certificate of parents or death certificate as applicable.
- Applicants who are new students must present a valid admission letter.
- Continuing students applying for local scholarship must have at least one year left to graduate to be able to benefit.
- Spill-over students need not to apply.
- Undergraduate applicants for local scholarship must have a minimum of grade B in at least five (5) subjects and grade C in other subjects in WAEC, WASSCE, NECO or its equivalent in one sitting and not more than three (3) years from graduation.
- Continuing Undergraduate applicants for local scholarship must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 of a 5.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system or 3.2 of a 4.0 CGPA system.
- Postgraduate applicants for local scholarship must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 of a 5.0 CGPA system or 3.2 of a 4.0 CGPA system for Masters degree while applicants for PhD degree must have a minimum of Master’s degree with merit.
Scholarship Requirement
- A minimum CGPA of 4.0 of 5.0 or 3.5 of 4.0
- Must be a student who has at least one more semester at the time of disbursement
- Must not be a spill over student.
- Fresh students must provide evidence of Grade B in at least five subjects including Mathematics and English and Grade C for the other subjects taken in WASSCE or NECO in one seating and not later than 2017
