With an aim to ease the financial burden on students, the Wakirike National Congress has initiated a maiden scholarship for students from the Wakirike community (Okrika and Ogu-Bolo people in Rivers State).
WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP
- Students of Wakirike origin in tertiary institutions across Nigeria are hereby notified of the maiden scholarship scheme sponsored by the Wakirike National Congress for those in the faculties of
- Engineering
- Environmental Science
- Information and Communications Technology
- Fisheries
- Humanities
- Students in Year 2 and above

1. Commencement of Scholarship Award Process

2. Shortlisting of successful candidates
28 February to 3 March 2024
3. Preparation for presentation of Awards
4 March to 7 March 2024
4. Award Presentation
